Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your reservation and visit at MAX · 满 BBQ (“MAX BBQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 18958 Daisetta St #106, Rowland Heights, CA 91748. By submitting a reservation or visiting our venue, you agree to the terms below. If you don’t agree, please don’t reserve or visit.

1. Reservation Types

MAX BBQ offers two reservation types:

• Dining Table — no deposit required. Tables are seated on a first-come basis within the reserved time window. No food & drink minimum.
• Private Karaoke (KTV) Room — requires an advance deposit that is credited 100% to your final bill. Rooms include 3 hours of use and have a food & drink minimum per the room tier selected.

2. Karaoke Room Tiers & Deposits

• Small Room — up to 7 people · $60 deposit · $299 food & drink minimum · 3 hours included · $30 per extra hour.
• Medium Room — up to 11 people · $80 deposit · $399 food & drink minimum · 3 hours included · $40 per extra hour.
• Large Room — up to 14 people · $100 deposit · $499 food & drink minimum · 3 hours included · $50 per extra hour.

The food & drink minimum is a combined total of food and beverage orders during your reservation. Gratuity, tax, and extra-hour fees are separate from the minimum. Parties that exceed stated capacity may be charged a per-head overage or asked to upgrade rooms. Parties of 15+ should contact us directly to arrange a buyout or multi-room booking.

3. Deposits & Payment

Karaoke room deposits are collected at the time of booking through Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment processor. We do not store your card number on our servers. The full deposit amount is credited toward your final bill on arrival. If your final bill is below the food & drink minimum, the remaining balance up to the minimum is still owed and charged to your card on file or paid at the table.

4. Cancellations & Reschedules

• 24+ hours before reservation — cancel or reschedule at no charge; deposits refunded in full to your original card, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
• Inside 24 hours — deposit is non-refundable and holds your room. You may still reschedule at our discretion based on availability.
• No-shows — the full deposit is forfeited and the room is released 30 minutes after your reserved start time.

5. Arrival & Grace Period

Please arrive on time. The 3-hour karaoke room window begins at your reserved start time regardless of when you arrive. We hold rooms for 30 minutes past the start time — after that, the room may be released to walk-in guests and the reservation treated as a no-show.

6. Extra Hours

You may extend your karaoke session past the initial 3 hours at the per-hour rate listed for your room tier, subject to availability of the next booking and kitchen closing at 2:00 AM. Extensions are charged at the end of your visit.

7. Age & Identification

Guests must be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcohol. We ID on entry and at the bar. Guests under 21 are welcome with a parent or guardian until 10:00 PM; after 10:00 PM the venue is 21+ only. Valid government-issued photo ID required for alcohol service — no exceptions.

8. Conduct & Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave for any behavior we consider unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive — including intoxication, harassment, vandalism, or illegal activity. No outside food or beverages. No smoking or vaping inside the venue or rooms. Guests are responsible for damages caused during their reservation; we may charge your card on file for documented damage or excessive cleaning fees.

9. Communications & Marketing Consent

By submitting a reservation, you consent to receive transactional messages from MAX BBQ via email, text (SMS), and phone call related to your reservation — including confirmations, reminders, changes, and follow-ups. You also opt in to occasional marketing messages about promotions, new menus, and events. You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time by replying STOP to a text, clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or emailing info@maxnch.com. Message and data rates may apply. Transactional messages related to an active reservation will continue even after marketing unsubscribe.

10. Hours of Operation

We’re open every night from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The kitchen serves until close. Last reservation start time is 12:00 AM. Hours may vary on major holidays — check our website or call ahead.

11. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

Please note allergies or dietary restrictions in the “Special Requests” field on the reservation form, or inform your server on arrival. We do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment — our kitchen prepares food with common allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, soy, sesame, shellfish, dairy, gluten, and eggs.

12. Photography & Privacy

MAX BBQ may take photos or video inside the venue for marketing purposes. You may opt out by notifying staff on arrival. We do not photograph inside private karaoke rooms. We collect reservation data (name, email, phone, party size, reservation details) solely to operate our business and communicate with you. We do not sell customer data. Payment card data is handled exclusively by Stripe.

13. Liability

You visit MAX BBQ at your own risk. We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings. To the fullest extent permitted by California law, our liability for any claim arising out of your reservation or visit is limited to the amount you paid us for that reservation. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our gross negligence, or anything that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of our reservation service or visits to the venue after an update constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these terms or your visit will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
