MAX BBQ — 满 BBQ — is Chongqing-style barbecue built for LA. Our founders grew up on the late-night Chongqing grill: charcoal smoke drifting down the alleys, beer towers sweating on the table, neon bright enough to see your shadow at 1 AM. That’s the energy we brought to Rowland Heights.
Our dedicated grill chef runs real charcoal — no gas shortcuts. Lamb and beef skewers cut the way they do back home. Stinky tofu that actually stinks. Sichuan-spiced beef tongue. Stir-fried clams by the wok-full. And because a meal shouldn’t end at the last skewer, we built three private karaoke suites with a massive multilingual library, pro sound, and door-to-door bottle service. Eat, drink, sing — without ever leaving your table.
满 means full. Full table, full house, full tank. That’s how you should leave MAX — and how you should come back.
